CAL CABO CELLER

We are a small winery located in the lower part of the house, where an old medieval castle once stood.

The chambers where the barrels are kept and where the wine rests were excavated hundreds of years ago to store the grain harvested from the surrounding arable lands. Nowadays, these spaces have been refurbished in order to create the most functional winery possible within the limited space available.

At present, we have around fifteen hectares of vineyard and olive grove. These lands, which serve for the production of our wines and oils, are located within the municipal area of Sant Martí de Riu Corb. From them we obtain the finest share of the fruit they provide us, while the remainder is sold to other producers and winemakers.
