CAL CAMATS

Stately home of the thirteenth century. It was a fortified house with a portal to enter the main courtyard. We still conserve the old chapel of 1658 where the masses were officiated to the lords and the servants of the house. Formerly it was also a rest hostel for travelers who were on the Roman road from Isona to Ponts.

An old and large house where its stones could explain the passage of the Napoleonic troops and where soldiers and prisoners of the last civil war were lodged. There the live tourned around the countryside, they took care of animals, they collected cereals, grapes to make wine, olives with their own oil mill, to which the neighbors of the area came to grind their olives, honey and worms to make silk that later were sold .. It was also the place where flocks of sheep met again when they came down from the mountains to look for better climates and pastures.

With all our well done work and in order to give you the best service, we open the rooms of our house in its best version, we have given them the freshness and comfort to satisfy the most demanding. Surrounded by extensive wooded areas and fields where you can make long excursions and visit our extensive historical, archaeological, architectural and landscape heritage.
