CAN BURGUÈS

Can Burguès is a Catalan farmhouse whose origins date back to the thirteenth century. Like most Catalan farmhouses, it has always been transmitted from parents to children. It stills preserves the structure and rustic style that characterize it and that have been forged over time. You can see many distinguishing details of Catalan architecture from different eras. The house has been growing and evolving over the years, and has been changing according to each era; however, it still maintains the charm and original beauty. The gardens and the fields that surround Can Burguès provides an excellent environment, an atmosphere of peace and tranquility.

Can Burguès has always been a farmhouse linked to agriculture and livestock. In the middle of the last century, our family incorporated the cultivation of hazels. Subsequently, in 2004 we made the conversion to organic farming, making a commitment to sustainability and health. We have recently diversified the activity, enabling a part of the farmhouse as a tourism accommodation, and we have enjoyed this experience for more than 15 years.

In Can Burguès there are three completely independent accommodations (La Caseta, Els Cirerers, and Els Cingles)

It is a quiet place with a family atmosphere, perfect for relaxing days.

The garden and pool is a common area for the 3 accommodations. It's a very large area and each accommodation has its own space with sun loungers, table and chairs. As well as a shower room restroom and laundry room.

The outdoor area has a swimming pool, barbecue, large garden and sauna. There is a children's area with swings and other games such as billiards, table tennis, badminton and volleyball net, football goal and mini golf.

It's a very spacious green and quiet area.

The swimming pool is heated and operative from 28 March to 28 October.

Although we very close to the center, being in Can Burguès is like being in an oasis of tranquility and peace. Our cottage is ideal for a getaway in the countryside and offers our guests an environment of calm and comfort.

Activities include hiking, exploring the surrounding area by bike or simply relaxing by the pool and sauna.

We also have farm animals and a small farm shop where you can buy products from the farm, the area and the neighborhood.
