Les Corts de Cal Farrés

Cal Farrés is located in the small rural village of Aleny (24 inhabitants) on top of a hill, in the center of Catalonia.

The house of Les Corts is a cozy and comfortable rural house with capacity for 4 people.

It has 2 double bedrooms, a bathroom and living room with dining room and kitchen. It is an ideal house for a romantic or family getaway.

You can also enjoy all the facilities: garden, barbecue, games room with billiards and ping pong and of course the swimming pool that is in a second large garden very close to the house.

If you are a large group, you can rent together the two houses in Cal Farrés: Les Corts and La Farraja.

The history of our family goes back a long way, the first written news dates back to the 11th century, when a castle was built here of which we still find vestiges in the current manor house of Cal Farrés. Since then, these stones have seen how new buildings and ultimately the town arose around them, and how their people were adapting to the circumstances and needs of the moment. In the same way, taking advantage of old buildings and livestock outbuildings of Cal Farrés, we have enabled the rural houses of La Farraja and Les Corts.

In its rehabilitation, we have tried to respect the traditional architecture as much as possible, seeking the balance between a rustic environment, but at the same time comfortable and functional where we can welcome and share with all of you these stones, walls and vaults that our ancestors bequeathed to us.

If you look around you will find a landscape worked by the peasants, the different fields in each season, there are paths and trails that take us from one place to another calmly, on a bicycle tour or walking. Each corner is a new landscape, each time of the year has its own smells and colors, we want to share with you these hills that we love, we are sure that they will welcome you and feel as close to the earth as we do.
