Cal Carulla, is a farmhouse from the s. XIV registered within the Architectural Heritage of Catalonia. It is located in Astor, a medieval village, with stone buildings, surrounded by crops and forests.
It has a garden with outdoor pool and pergola; games room with table tennis; children's areas; spaces for groups; corral and horses You can also enjoy an indoor pool, SPA with air blowers, waterfall, swimming against the current and chromotherapy.
After fourteen generations, the old agricultural outbuildings, such as the old press or the corrals, have been converted into seven rural tourism houses, preserving the charm of the stone walls, the wooden beams, the restored antique furniture and the rustic decoration . They allow accommodation from two to a total of thirty-four guests. Each one is fully equipped with all amenities: living room with fireplace, kitchen with all utensils, garden furniture with barbecue, etc.
The Carulla family combines the agricultural activity of cereal cultivation with sustainable and responsible tourism. Optimizing resources through solar panels, aerothermia, low consumption lights, drip irrigation, facilities for recycling, encouraging local products and services, etc. It was the first house in Catalonia with the environmental quality badge and we currently have the Biosphere badge.
