In just a few minutes, one can reach the Sallente Dam, the starting point of a route providing access to the multiple lakes in this entrance to the Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici National Park. In summer, the ascent can be made by cable car, which goes from Sallente to Estany Gento.
A valley surrounded by ski resorts (Boí Taüll, Espot Esquí, Port-Ainé…), adventure activities (rafting, canyoning, horseback excursions…), and Romanesque monuments and hermitages that reveal the history of the territory. Likewise, within a few kilometres, one can access Montcortès Lake, the Dinosaur Museum and the Isona archaeological sites, the national lottery of the Bruixa d’Or in Sort, and complete the stay by visiting the 19 settlements of the valley and enjoying the activities in the municipality of La Torre de Capdella.
